The Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians (MACC) is back with their brand new stand-up comedy for 2018. This is their 9th show since a sold out debut in Kuala Lumpur back in 2010.
The show title “Reset” is a nod to the current climate of Malaysia after the recent General Election.
The MACC are: Douglas Lim, Kuah Jenhan, Phoon Chi Ho and Dr. Jason Leong. Individually, they are some of the most recognized names in the local stand-up comedy scene. They have performed solo shows both locally and abroad to critical acclaim. Once a year, they band together and perform as the MACC – promising 85 minutes of brand new comedy material. Audiences can expect comedic observations, anecdotes, song parodies and unique insights from these 4 accomplished performers.
This year, they will also bring the show to Labuan, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Penang, Johor and possibly Singapore. The success of the MACC is mainly due to their camaraderie on-stage and distinctive comedy styles which all come together, resulting in an evening of laughter and reflection.
